Mac Pro (Mid 2006, Intel Xeon Dual-core 2.66GHz or 3GHz) so do I roll the dice and chance it? I guess I should ask a seperate question about 1.1 macPro 3ghz and Win7 to see if the not supported is a real proble or just " we did not test with the 1.1MacPro as it is such an old computer now" situation and the thing will work but donot bother us if it does not (for example under Lion I should not be able to run XP SP3 on ths machine yet it works just fine but unsupported so any have anything real world to say about this combo?ĭo all Intel-based Macs support Windows 7?Īll Intel-based Macs support Windows 7 using Boot Camp 3.1 except these: Looks like it might not work with this computer See quote below from the support file unless that is due to the slug videocared orignaly provided with the 1.1 macpro the video card I no run was a vast improvement over the X1900 that came with I replaced 4 of them under applecare and even thought appls said the 4870 I bought from them was not supported it works just fine.
